Nourishing Hope: Planting and Growing Goodness

One City’s mission statement is to support people from all walks of life, impacted by hardship, through community connections, emergency resources, and transformational guidance leading to generational impact.

Through Nourishing Hope, we are inspired to create a safe, therapeutic space to grow abundance, harvest for the community to nourish, strengthen, support and teach.

In 2024, we have 3 goals for the farm:
1. Increase learning opportunities for kids to learn to grow across all ethnicities, income levels, and backgrounds. Giving kids the opportunity with a safe place to learn to grow their own food, understand how the food system works and new skills they might not have otherwise learned in a suburban environment.

2. Build 2 Greenhouses to expand the growing season, improve produce output and nourishment, resulting in an increase in food output for the community. Given to any community members in need, with no questions asked.

3. Increase community involvement, offering a safe place to be in nature and learn new skills that provide therapeutic relief.
